We recently worked with a client who wanted to increase their monthly revenue from email marketing. 

They’d played around with emails for their business and had a few flows set up, but they were losing out on revenue due to poor-quality flows. 

They thought the brand had potential but didn’t know where to start. 

Here’s how the business was performing when we came on board.

Key Stats: 

Revenue generated from Klaviyo: $48,568 (20%)

Revenue generated from flows: $30,198 (12%)

Bringing in 20% of revenue from Klaviyo is respectable but the flows only accounting for 12% showed us that there was a ton of opportunity for this client. 

Once we took a closer look at their Klaviyo account we realized they were missing some essential flows and the ones they did have in place were of poor quality.

The power of email automation

We rebuilt their automated flows with more personal copy and ensured there were enough flows in place to guide a customer through their journey with the brand. 

So they could make money on autopilot, without having to lift a finger. 

After testing and tweaking the flows, here’s how the results improved.

Revenue generated from Klaviyo: $339,380 (30%)

Revenue generated from flows: $73,243 (22%)

The new flows performed so well that we were able to generate an additional $53,130 a month from Klaviyo, with $43,000 of that coming from automated flows. 

Let us break that down for you. 

That’s an additional $43k on top of what they were already making, which is an extra $516,000 a year without having to lift a finger. 

The brand can leave these flows in place, and they’ll continue to make money, however…

Confidence to scale

While this client could have left their flows up and comfortably made an additional half a million dollars a year, they saw how well the flows were performing and decided to drive more traffic. 

Here’s how they’re performing now

Revenue generated from Klaviyo: $278,526 (34%)

Revenue generated from flows: $204,968 (25%)

With strong flows in place, the client was no longer losing leads or missing out on sales. 

That gave them the confidence to drive even more traffic. 

The client started out making $30,000 a month from their automated email flows. 

With our flows, they have been able to scale to over $200,000 a month in automated sales. 

That’s an additional $2.4 million a year. 

Which is pretty incredible.
